Before you come
Can we bring children?
Of course. One child under 10 stays free, and children from 7 pay half the tourist tax. The garden has a swing and a slide. If you need a cot, mention it in your enquiry.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed in the apartments.
Can we stay just one night?
Yes, a single night costs 20 % more than the price list.
How do we confirm a booking?
Once the villa confirms your dates, you pay 20 % within 15 days. The rest and the tourist tax are paid on arrival.
During your stay
Where do we park?
Each apartment has its own covered space across from the house, in the Bazoviška cul-de-sac. Parking is free. Steps lead down to the lower apartments.
When are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 2 pm, check-out by 10 am. Let the villa know your arrival time beforehand.
Where can we do laundry?
The shared laundry room has a washer and a dryer, at no extra cost. Apartment L has its own washing machine in the bathroom.
Is there everything we need to cook?
Yes: a hob, a dishwasher, a fridge with a freezer, a microwave, a coffee machine, a toaster, pots and cutlery, and an oven in A, B and L. There is an electric grill for the balcony or terrace and a shared barbecue in the garden.
Around the villa
How far is the beach?
The villa stands on the hill, 48 m above the sea. The coast road is about 10 minutes' walk downhill and Portorož's main beach about 20 minutes, with a climb on the way back. By car the beach is a few minutes away; parking by the sea is paid.
Can you hear the road?
The coast road runs below the villa. On the sea-facing balconies and terraces you hear the traffic during the day; the windows are well insulated, and guests write that at night, with the windows shut, there is no noise to speak of. Apartment C's bedroom is at the back of the house.
Do we need a car?
Not necessarily: the local bus to Portorož and Piran stops on the coast road, about 10 minutes' walk away. As the way back is uphill, guests often use the car for trips and the beach.
Is there a shop nearby?
A Mercator supermarket is about 500 m, or 7 minutes' walk, from the villa.
